A minuteter, the helicopter hovered above the hotel’s roof. Isaac Cameron’s team promptly lowered two robust nylon ropes from either side of the aircraft. After exchanging a nce with Xion, Charlie grasped a rope, and they both swiftly descended from the helicopter. In an instant, theynded silently on the hotel’s rooftop. From there, they quietly approached the balcony of James and Steve’s room. Inside, Steve waspletely disinterested in the fireworks outside; hey in bed, feeling a bit restless. The jetg had left him wide awake, and he decided to pour himself a drink to help with the sleeplessness. He stood up to grab a bottle of whiskey from the hotel room’s cab.
Just then, another round of fireworks erupted outside, prompting Steve to mutter irritably, “I can’t believe someone is setting off fireworks at this hour!” As he grumbled, he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. Startled, his heart raced; he was alone in the room—who could it be? He instinctively turned to see a beautiful Chinese woman smiling at him.
This woman was Xion.
Realizing that she was not a friend, panic surged through Steve, and he opened his mouth to call for help. However, before he could make a sound, he felt a sudden blow to his neck and everything went dark.
Meanwhile, Charlie had just slipped into James’s presidential suite.
At that moment, James had just finished his bath, wrapped in a robe and puffing on a cigar. As he walked out of the bathroom, he was busy sending a voice message to Megan via WeChat, saying, “Baby, how long until you arrive?”
Quickly, Megan responded in a sweet voice, “Dear, just give me ten more minutes. I’m already in the city and will be there soon!”
James replied with a hint of annoyance, “Tell the driver to hurry up! If ten minutes pass and you’re not here, I might just have to spank you!”
As he sent the message, he suddenly heard a man’s voice teasingly say, “Mr. Banks, I doubt you could ever catch up with that beautiful woman’s backside!”
