Charlie Wade noticed the look of horror on Lin Wan’er (ni)’s face. Typicallyposed, her nervousness prompted him to quickly inquire, “Miss Lin, what does this remind you of?!” Without answering, Lin Wan’er (ni) kept her gaze fixed on the ominously swirling dark clouds above, softly murmuring, “These dark clouds appear chaotic and disordered, yet there are faint intricate patterns… It feels as if they are depicting the Zhen Gua from the sixty-four hexagrams of the Book of Changes…”
“Zhen Gua?!” Charlie eximed, taken aback by her sudden revtion. “Could these clouds really represent a hexagram?”
Lin Wan’er (ni) nodded solemnly, continuing, “The Zhen hexagrams have always been known for theirplexity. The ancients described that when a shock urs, ughter turns hoarse; it can rattle hundreds of miles, and in this case, the main and guest hexagrams ovep, indicating a sudden event—something monumental is about to happen!”
Charlie, even more astonished, pressed on, “Who possesses the ability to manipte the clouds in such a way? Is this some sort of fortune-telling?!”
Lin Wan’er (ni) appeared perplexed. “I’m not sure… but it seems this divination began the moment we arrived here. It doesn’t feel artificially created.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
“Not artificial…” Charlie repeated, then asked, “If that’s the case, could it be a natural phenomenon?”
As they spoke, the dark clouds continued to shift at an rming rate, as if the sky itself had opened an endless well, spilling forth darkness that quickly enveloped the entire valley surrounding Tianchi Lake.
Frowning, Lin Wan’er (ni) stared wide-eyed at the tumultuous sky, whispering, “The hexagrams are changing too rapidly… I can’t grasp their meaning… What are you trying to convey? Please, make it clearer!”
Despite her pleas, the dark clouds remained unresponsive and relentless in their transformation.
Feeling frustrated, Lin Wan’er (ni) eximed, “There are too many variables! Each requires time toprehend, and with such quick changes, it feels like a new hexagram appears in the blink of an eye. I truly can’t see through it!”
Upon hearing this, Charlie quickly pulled out his phone to start recording, saying, “Miss Lin, don’t worry. I’ll document all these changes. If necessary, you can analyze themter at your leisure.”
Lin Wan’er shook her head, stating, “These hexagrams are repeating… Great changes are urring, and everything is framed within the context of Zhen Gua, suggesting that the main and guest hexagrams are interconnected and restrained… Whoever has formed this hexagram is pleading for our assistance… Moreover, there’s an oddly familiar sensation I can’t quite articte…”
“Pleading for help?” Charlie frowned. “But we’ve only just arrived; who would suddenly seek our aid?”
Lin Wan’er (ni) murmured, “It’s not a person… there’s no individual among the hexagrams…”
Rubbing his temples in confusion, Charlie replied, “I’m getting lost in this. If there’s no one, then what exactly is asking for our help?”
Lin Wan’er (ni) continued to gaze at the ever-shifting dark clouds. “I haven’t figured it out yet… it’s not a person… but who or what it might be, I just don’t know… just…”<fn27b7> Read full story at f?ndnovel</fn27b7>
Suddenly, her eyes widened in realization. “Ah! I understand!”
Charlie quickly asked, “What have you figured out?”
Lin Wan’er (ni) burst into tears of excitement, pointing at the bare ground beneath her feet. “I know who’s asking for help! It’s her! It’s the mother of Pucha!” Charlie listened intently, his mind racing at her revtion.<h3 ss="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
