She was even more bewildered. “Didn’t the mother of Pucha fail to ovee the catastrophe three hundred years ago? How can she possibly ask us for help now?! And… she’s just a tree that can summon dark clouds. Asking us for assistance?! How does that even make sense?!”
Lin Wan’er (ni) murmured, “I can’t exin my son’s doubts, but I sense that familiar presence—it’s the mother of Pucha…” Charlie Wade interjected, “Alright, let’s assume you’re correct. If it truly is the mother of Pucha reaching out for our help through the clouds, what does she need from us? How can we assist her?”
Lin Wan’er (ni) felt a surge of anxiety. “I don’t know… All I can see is that she’s in distress. This constantly shifting hexagram gives me the impression that she’s trapped and unable to break free, but I have no idea how to guide the ve family in helping her escape…”
At that moment, the dark clouds grew thicker, formingrge, dense clusters that began to slowly descend.
The air was now saturated with humidity, and the pressure seemed to plummet rapidly, making it hard for anyone to breathe—much like the oppressive atmosphere before a summer thunderstorm.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Lin Wan’er (ni), whocked any cultivation base, struggled to breathe. Her expression grew increasingly anxious, and she rarely lost herposure. As she stomped her feet in frustration, she eximed, “The hexagrams are bing more perilous. The main hexagram shows signs of being engulfed by the guest hexagrams. I can’t save her anymore… What do we do… what do we do…”
Charlie Wade felt even more confused. He couldn’t decipher the hexagram that left Lin Wan’er (ni) in distress. Seeing her anxiety only added to his worries, leaving him standing there in a state of concern.
The dark clouds continued to thicken and descend, creating a powerful low-pressure area above Tianchi Lake. Lin Wan’er (ni) felt increasingly short of breath, forcing her to take deep gulps of air while her mind raced to find a solution.
Although Charlie Wade couldn’t grasp the hexagrams, he thought through the situation logically. “Miss Lin, if she truly is asking for our help, it must be within our abilities. What can we do to assist her? Are we supposed to disperse these dark clouds? That seems impossible!”<fn574c> Content originallyes from find{n}ovel</fn574c>
Lin Wan’er (ni) nodded in agreement, saying anxiously, “You’re right… If it’s about clearing the dark clouds, there’s nothing we can do… Your master has the power to summon thunder, but that only affects tangible objects. Thunder and lightning are rted like water and fish; they don’t fear thunder… So what else can we do?”
As Charlie Wade pondered this, a spark of realization lit up his eyes. “I understand!” he eximed.
Lin Wan’er (ni) quickly asked, “What have you discovered, Master?!”
Charlie Wade inquired, “Miss Lin, have you noticed what’s missing in these thick dark clouds and this intense low pressure?”
Lin Wan’er (ni)’s eyes widened in sudden rity. “There’s ack of lightning!”
“Exactly!” Charlie Wade affirmed with enthusiasm. “Under normal circumstances, these heavy dark clouds would have already unleashed thunder. The trace of lightning was lost when Willie self-destructedst time, but the only magic weapon I can use from a distance now is the re-refined thunderbolt. Let’s give it a shot!”
Lin Wan’er (ni) beamed with joy. “Your re-refined thunderbolt—didn’t you make that from the piece of lightning-struck wood I gave you?” “Yes!” he replied.
Lin Wan’er’s excitement surged as she clenched her fists, eximing, “The lightning-struck tree is the broken branch of the mother of Pucha! Perhaps she hasn’t truly disappeared in thest three hundred years since her catastrophe. Maybe she has been waiting for this moment all along!”<h3 ss="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
